Knowing how to ride an e-scooter or cycle well is essential to protecting your safety and those around you.
There are many ways to learn how to use an e-scooter or e-bike safely. Using our in-app safety school, completing an online course or even attending one of our in-person safety events, you can choose what works best for you.
In-app Safety School
TIER’s in-app Safety School provides essential information on how to ride safely, check your vehicle, and the rules and regulations you need to know before riding.
Online Safety School
Our online safety school allows you to learn how to use an e-bike or e-scooter on a desktop. Take the course from any location, in your own time!
E-scooter Safety Training
Our e-scooter safety training events are a great way to try out an e-scooter with trained instructors before going out on the road. What’s more, you will get two free journeys and 20 free minutes after completing the course. *Only available in certain countries.

TIER's beginner mode for e-scooters allows you to take as many journeys as you need at a slower speed as you get used to this new mode of transport.

Our 24/7 Customer Care team are there to support you if anything happens while using a TIER. In-app 24 hour chat function makes it much easier for you to report incidents and if necessary make a claim through our insurance partners.
