TIER appoints Manuel Arauco as new Country Manager for Spain

Wednesday 16th February, Madrid – TIER Mobility, the European leader in shared micro-mobility, has appointed Manuel Arauco as its new Country Manager with the aim of leading TIER's entry into Spain.

Before joining TIER, Manuel worked in both startups and large listed companies such as Just Eat and Accenture Strategy. At Just Eat he led the Commercial Growth team for South East Europe, managing 7 countries including Spain.

He also has extensive experience in the technology sector, where he has worked in the launch and international expansion of startups from pre-seed stage. In this sense, Manuel worked as COO at Ona, a startup in the restaurant sector where he contributed to closing its Seed round and started operations in France, Switzerland and Portugal. He was also Country Manager at Helpling in Spain, a Rocket Internet accelerator startup dedicated to home cleaning services.

Born in Bolivia, Manuel is based in Spain, where he graduated in Business Administration with a major in Finance from IE University and also participated in an exchange programme with Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
